BIO
I'm a dad, husband (and human), currently residing in Geraldton, Western Australia. I live with purpose, intent, and meaning.
I've worked across many disciplines: - design, business, arts, construction, music, education, health, operations, events (to name a few). I don't sit still; since a young age I've worked in enterprises of my own creation or influence, where I interrogate the norm and pull disparate knowledge together to navigate life. I strive to fold conscious intentionality into every day.
Learning has always been, and continues to be, a core life value. I'm constantly testing new ideas and trying new things, with varying degrees of success. To me, failure and misadventure are not to be avoided - rather, they are essential ingredients in Progress Pie. I'm a Dad, so that terrible joke is permissible.
I enjoy using power tools, sarcasm, and Oxford commas.
MY DAYS
I'm currently at Euphorium. We believe creativity is every community's most valuable renewable resource, which can be harnessed to solve our biggest issues, as we venture into the unimagined.
My wife and I have recently made the decision to use the learning opportunities presented throughout each of our days to educate our son (commonly referred to home schooling, but we are often not at home, and we don't conduct ourselves as a school).
We've been renovating our home for almost two years. It started, of course, as a few month endeavour. It's the gift that keeps giving however, as for the most part, it is incredibly enjoyable to see things come together. I volunteer as an EMT with St John Ambulance. I help out at our local toy library. And of course if there's a neighbour who needs a kitchen installed, I'm there.
My work spans across many disciplines, project locations, and organisations. You can see some examples of my work at these links, or you can check out my CV.
